An opportunity to join the MHV Environmental Programme
To support the wider community with environmental management we now offer the opportunity for those within the Hekeao Hinds Catchment, who are not MHV shareholders, to join our environmental programme. Any land in the Hekeao Hinds Plains Zone can enter into a contract with us, with no limitations on the size of the property or type of farm system.
MHV has either directly or indirectly (through the Rangitata Diversion Race Management Limited) held the land use and/or discharge consents on behalf of our farmer shareholders since 2014. We renewed our consent in May 2021 and the new discharge consent expires in Dec 2030.
